Cancellation and Refund Policy
You have the right to request a cancellation and refund within 30 days of purchasing your insurance policy. Refunds are available for policies that have not been utilized (i.e., no claims have been made) and are subject to the terms outlined by the insurance provider.
To be eligible for a refund, your policy must meet the following conditions:
- The policy is active, and no claims have been made.
- You provide proof of purchase (e.g., your policy number and payment receipt).
- The cancellation request is made within 30 days of the policy purchase date.
How to Request a Refund
To start a cancellation and refund request, please contact us at e.mulilo1@alustudent.com. Our team will guide you through the process, review your request, and determine your eligibility for a refund.
Once your request is reviewed and accepted, the refund will be processed using your original payment method within 10 business days.
Non-Refundable Situations
Certain circumstances make the policy ineligible for a refund, including:
- Policies where claims have already been made.
- Cancellations requested beyond the 30-day window from the purchase date.
- Customized or specially arranged policies that fall outside standard offerings.
Damages and Issues
If you encounter any issues with your insurance documents or receive incorrect details, please reach out to us immediately so we can rectify the situation.
Changes to Your Policy
If you wish to amend your coverage rather than cancel, our team can assist you in updating your policy to better suit your needs without requiring a refund.
Refund Processing
We will notify you once we’ve processed your request and inform you whether the refund is approved. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please contact us at e.mulilo1@alustudent.com.
